Thank you for your interest in having a Pet Partner of Greater Cincinnati (PPGC) animal therapy team(s) visit your facility! When submitting a request, please keep in mind:
- PPGC is 100% volunteer run with many members who work full time.
- PPGC receives more visits than our nearly 200 teams can fill.
- PPGC is working hard to recruit new animal therapy teams so we have the ability to fulfill as many new requests as possible. We only mention this in the event that no teams contact you about visiting.
To ensure a successful visit, we request the following accommodations and information:
- If the number of participants is large, we require a schedule to manage how many people are with the pets at one time, generally smaller groups every 10 minutes.
- The location must be indoors and of sufficient space to avoid overcrowding of the pets.
- If the point of contact is a student, we also need the name and contact information of a responsible adult.
- For the safety of all concerned, we require that PPGC be the only animal therapy organization in attendance.
- We require a space to allow for a “meet and greet” of the therapy teams (outside if acceptable; in the case of inclement weather, we request an indoor space, such as a large lobby area).
